"Bringing veterans home, one warrior at a time"
Operation All The Way Home
This project would not be possible without the incredible talent and generosity of our construction team:
This team, along with all of our subcontractors, worked tirelessly in order to expedite the construction of the Hancock home. OATH is thankful for each member of our construction team and their commitment to bringing SPC Hancock and his family all the way home.
All the way home for SPC Hancock and his family is a rural 3-acre property on the west side of the Antelope Valley, in northern Los Angeles County, California. While this property is in a quiet neighborhood of small ranches on dirt roads, it is only minutes from schools, grocery stores, shopping malls, and medical facilities. The property consists of two homes. The primary residence is a 2,400 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, "Smart Home" for SPC Hancock and his 2 children. This home provides large rooms, wide hallways and doors, and automation that will accommodate SPC Hancock's unique health and mobility needs. The secondary residence is a 1,200 sq. ft., 2 bedroom, 2 bath home for SPC Hancock's full-time caregivers, thus providing privacy for both families, and the proximity necessary for SPC Hancock's needed care.
This property and homes will provide maximum independence for SPC Hancock in an environment where he and his children and caregivers can thrive; putting the day-to-day struggles created by living in a crowded mobile home in the past and looking instead to the future of continued healing and abundant possibilities.
